Country Cascades Waterpark Resort announced a major developmental milestone to its indoor waterpark. The first section of roofing was installed to the waterpark’s Braxton Beaver’s Shipwreck Bay. Also known as the “Tidal Wave Roof,” the section installed covers nearly 8,000 square feet and required a crane for installation. Officials said additional sections will be hoisted into place over the next few days.
Braxton Beaver’s Shipwreck Bay is scheduled to open in early 2025. Once open, it will offer an immersive waterpark experience, featuring a splash pad, slides and several interactive elements. This comes after a $26 million reimagining effort that included a tower of hotel rooms, a rock wall and bowling was completed last year.
