According to the person in charge of the project of Jihuayuan Ice and Snow Sports Center in Xi'an, Shaanxi, up to now, the project has completed the construction of the main steel structure, the internal insulation project and the metal roofing project, and it is pushing forward the construction of facade and the decoration of the service building. This sport center will open in May.
The project covers an area of about 64,000 sq.m, with a floor area of 54,000 sq.m and a total investment of 750 million yuan, mainly constructing an indoor international real ice pavilion, an indoor ski resort, an indoor multi-functional comprehensive fitness training venue and related facilities. It is an all-weather indoor skiing and ice skating sports center, and also serves as professional competition and training center, a place where the people of ages can enjoy recreation and have a good time. According to the report, the Xi’an Jihuayuan Ice and Snow Sports Center has 2 ski slides with 240m long and 50-80m wide, as well as an area of 1830 sq.m of the Olympic standard ice rink. After the completion, it will be a new recreational place for residents of Xi 'an and Xianyang.
