On March 11th, Shanghai Disney Resort announced that the resort has recently started preliminary construction preparations for a new attraction located within Shanghai Disneyland. This independent themed attraction will be adjacent to the "Zootopia" theme park.
It is understood that the project is still in the preliminary planning stage. The person in charge of the resort expressed full confidence in Shanghai Disneyland as always, and looks forward to introducing more project progress as future work progresses.
In addition, the third Disney themed hotel in the resort has also completed its pile foundation work recently, laying an important foundation for the official launch of the main project in the next stage. The construction of the third Disney themed hotel in Shanghai Disney Resort broke ground in August 2023, and representatives from both shareholders of the joint venture attended the groundbreaking ceremony. This brand new themed hotel with 400 rooms will be located on the shore of Xingyuan Lake, and once completed, it will provide tourists with a wider range of accommodation options.
