Universal Studios recently announced that the "Dreamworks" theme park will open in Universal Studios, Florida on June 14, 2024. The park is located in a corner of the park and was built on the basis of a children's area originally named Woodpecker.
As previously announced, areas specifically designed for children will retain most of the previous infrastructure to provide new experiences, such as the Trolls Trollercoaster and Po's Kung Fu Training Camp, which were redesigned based on KidZone's children's roller coaster and Curious George amusement park, respectively. The theme park will also include character greetings from Shrek Swamp and a "DreamWorks Imagination Celebration" dance party.
