The second and third phases of the Happy Bay project in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, located within the jurisdiction of Lihu Street, are currently under construction. A 80-meter-high Ferris wheel is being built. This Ferris wheel is currently installing the external structure around the central axis and gradually installing the gondolas. After completing the external installation, the electrical and driving equipment will be installed. As the Ferris wheel, snow paradise and other functional blocks are gradually completed, it is expected to be fully opened on January 1, 2025, which can meet the needs of different groups of people at the same time.
The Happy Bay has a total investment of 310 million yuan and a total construction area of about 19,300 square meters. It aims to build a comprehensive urban tourism industrial complex integrating tourism sightseeing, leisure entertainment, research and study education, outdoor sports, specialty catering, themed hotels and commercial street districts. It contains functional blocks such as amusement park, water park, unpowered park, specialty food streets, themed hotels, etc. It is one of the key tourism projects in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou.
