On December 28, 2024, the Joy Land Amusement Park in Zhongshan OCT Harbour, invested and constructed by OCT Group and jointly operated by OCT Group and Guangdong Jinma Entertainment Corp., Ltd., officially opened for business. During the two-day opening period from 28 - 29, the park welcomed over 80,000 visitors.
The park covers an area of nearly 300,000 square meters and is themed around "Parallel Worlds". It consists of four major theme areas: "Secret Land", "Tribes Union", "Galactic Jungle", and "Future Stars", featuring 23 attractions. Among them are the first hybrid cabin flying tower in domestic China, the first dual-arm "Time-Space Knight" in South China, a vertically ascending "drift river", and a mine train integrating audio-visual and lighting effects, all of which are innovative amusement facilities. A variety of well-known food brands have also been introduced to the park. The park is open to visitors of all ages. In addition to the rich array of attractions, it will also launch original street musicals, parent-child study tours, and create a leisure landscape along the river, aiming to provide tourists with all-day cultural and tourism experiences.
Deng Zhiyi, Chairman of Jinma Entertainment, introduced that the park will continue to add educational and entertaining facilities and equipment for parent-child activities, further enriching secondary consumption and night-time entertainment project to be developed in conjunction with surrounding areas, complementing the OCT commercial street, Shaju Wetland Park, Zhongshan North Railway Station, and Sam’s Club, increasing investment in the project, and transforming the entire park into one of the most attractive leisure and tourism destinations in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Wang Peng, the deputy general manager of Zhongshan Harbour Joy Land Amusement Park, introduced that the park plans to attract tourists by introducing popular IPs with strong traffic in the current market and planning unique themes.
